A rat ode

I killed a rat today,.... and when I say I killed a rat, I mean I was jumping from one bed to the other while screaming at the top of my lungs while my room mate and my friend actually killed the rat. Rodents are annoying and irritating. They eat up your stuffs and run around the room. On hearing that a rat entered the room two days ago, I refused to sleep there, instead I slept in my friends' room. On getting to the room this afternoon, I was determined to get it out, called my friend and my room mate, and began my journey to hopping from one bed to the other, while the rat played tag. It was a huge relief when it was smashed on the head and it breath its last breathe... I hate rats...

Microsoft is updating its Windows software for cellphones to accommodate larger devices and make it easier for motorists to reduce distractions while driving. It's the third update to Windows Phone 8 software since the system's release a year ago. Devices with this update will start appearing in the coming weeks, and older phones will be eligible for a free upgrade as well. In a move that may appeal to motorists, a new Driving Mode will automatically silence incoming calls and texts so that you can focus on the road. cell phones will automatically silence incoming calls and texts so that you can focus on the road. You also can configure the feature to automatically send out a reply to say that you're driving. It can be activated automatically when the phone is linked wirelessly with a Bluetooth device in the car, such as a headset. However, the Driving Mode will not block outgoing calls and mails. The feature won't stop a teenager from texting while driving, but it wi

Thoughts 10/10/2013 8:59 PM Humans are the highest animals... Sometimes I wonder why . Is it because of our size...no I don't think so, if not Elephants would be superior to us... Maybe it is the way we turn the simplest of thing into a complicated bunch. Yeah, that is because we can think...we have the ability to joggle more than one thing in our minds. Human survival is dependent on how much thoughts are put into stuffs...your ability to handle situations and the choices we make is dependent on how much thought we put into them. One thing I cherish most about me is my ever busy mind, thinking through stuffs, itemizing and setting priorities... Weighing options, making abstract notes and decision. I this game, able to discern and foretell circumstances. I can proudly say that I love being human, cats may be cute and fuzzy but I love having a tasking brain. << For a better view of this note, tap the attached file. >>

World Most Expensive car

Image
In February 2012, a 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO became  the most expensive car ever sold,  fetching a staggering $32 million. Then, just a few months later, a 1962 GTO, built for the legendary Sir Stirling Moss, eclipsed that record selling for $35 million. But in the world of Ferraris, GTOs, and incredibly affluent, unidentified buyers, a $35 million GTO is now a relative steal. That's because a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO has just sold for $52 million  according to Bloomberg , snatching the record as the latest "most expensive car ever sold." Source: Yahoo!

Cheating husband tries to win his wife back on facebook

Image
Ivan Lewis cheated on his wife and he regrets it. Despite his infidelity, he desperately wants his wife Sonya Gore back in his life. To make things up to Sonya, his wife, he  posted this photo on Facebook , under the agreement that if it got more than 10,000 likes, she would take him back. So far Ivan’s poetic attempt at winning back Sonya has received over 14,600 likes, but it seems as though Sonya hasn’t magically forgiven him yet, despite  mentioning on her own Facebook  that her and Ivan still love each other and “want to be loved.” Ivan posted a thank you to his online supporters, adding: “I’M NOT GOING TO STOP UNTIL I GET HER BACK!”

23 things every woman should stop doing

Image
  1. Apologizing all the time.  Research has shown that  women actually do say “sorry”  more often than men. We’re all for taking responsibility when you make a mistake -- but constantly apologizing for having your waiter split the check or asking a date to hang out on a different night or telling a friend about your problems, does more harm than good. There’s no need to qualify everything you do. Own your preferences and decisions.
