Medical and Pharmacy interns in LUTH protest for lack of payment

Its such a pity i was not at the scene. The interns in LUTH dropped
their instruments today, and engaged in a protest against the
non-payment of their salary.
This hurts so much, because this is my school and i would be in their
post soon. And of all things i know about medical school, i know that
House Officers are the slaves of the medical team, they do all the
dirty jobs that Consultants and Registrars don't want to do.
First, it was a slash in their salary, now they don't want to pay them at all.
... This is heartless...
