LIFECYCLE

There was a time when we were born, comments like: “he is so adorable” “she is so cute” “she takes after her mother” fly around; but time passes by when you begin to grow from childhood to adulthood and in between these two stages of life there are series of struggles, experiences and a lot of lesson to be learnt in order to shape your adulthood.
While nature has its detailed and well organised through this journey, a lot of mankind scream and scramble at nature for the curse of having to grow up, to take up responsibilities and to have to face the consequences of our actions, either good or bad.
Generations have come and gone, mankind cycle the earth, but the only constant thing is nature itself. In each generation, achievements are celebrated because some set of people decided to agree with nature’s course instead of fighting aimlessly against it.
As I write, I begin to wonder, if I can’t win this endless and non-profitable battle with nature’s course, I think it is time for me to wake up and smell the toffee. Time is running out, I have to catch up with it and take up my responsibilities and face the consequences of my actions.
Either I do that or I go down history as the girl that never grew up, but died at the age of 120 years, with wrinkled body, failing memory, bad eyesight and no achievements. I don’t want that to be me; what about you?
