It's just a crush

"It's just a crush" she had told herself over and over again in the attempt to bring herself back to reality, but on this particular matter, all her being seem to be posing a revolution against her will, even the lips of which the words come off always seem to give off a little smirk each time she makes the statement.
She tried rationalizing with her brain but it seems her brain is the organizer and leader of the revolution, evident by the numerous times it has replayed to her the mental playback of how it all started, and the numbers of silly daydreams that followed after.
She remembers vividly the day that the trouble all began. Prior to this fateful day, everything had been peaceful, but right after she made the silly mistake of walking up to him and making a conversation with this other life form, her life was thrown into shambles and disorganization. Her whole system went into disarray, pandemonium broke out in every organ in her body.
Life had been difficult after that day, focusing on reality had been a difficult struggle and fantasy land has been only a second away. She had come to learn that the most difficult battle is the battle against oneself.
The doors were thrown open, "it's just a crush", she said to herself for the umpteenth time, this time with a wider and more sincere smile planted across her face as she saw his smiling face and looked into his sparkling eyes. She made her way toward him to be joined to the man who threw her life into the happiest shambles she would ever experience.
She felt all her body systems scream out in joy. Apparently, it's NOT just a crush.
